Oleron Plant Exchange
Dates & opening times
Description
The Plant Exchange is a convivial event where gardening enthusiasts can exchange plants, seeds, seedlings, cuttings and advice. The aim is to encourage encounters between gardeners and to share know-how while discovering a variety of plants. Everyone can bring plants from their own garden, whether surplus or rarer varieties, and leave with new species.
The event, held twice a year, also serves to raise awareness of invasive plants and exchange practical gardening tips. On this occasion, GEDAR will be distributing seed packets of melliferous plants. We'll also be talking about compost and the Saint Denis d'Oléron grain library.
It's free, but don't come empty-handed.
