All week from April 27 to May 3, exhibition in the Salle des Cimaises by the Chemins de la Mémoire
de la Mémoire Seudre-Oléron association.
Tuesday April 29: camp set-up on esplanade de l'Éperon; around 80 vintage military vehicles and
and 150 people in period dress.
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 6:30pm: the ceremony will take place at the landing site on Gatseau beach, marked by a stele of Périgord stone. The stele is located near the Petit Train stop in Gatseau (little station). The Philharmonique Oléronaise orchestra will perform at the event.
Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3 on the Esplanade de l'Eperon camp site
- Vehicle exhibition
- Activities: ticker-tape demonstration, demonstration of German telephone switchboards, demonstration of mine-clearing equipment, creation of Ausweiss passes, cooking demonstration and preparation using period equipment.
Saturday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m.: free popular dance at the Salle Le Galion by Les Popsicles Sisters, open to all (period costumes welcome).
