KO 2024 concert by Kanazoé Orkestra. This Franco-Burkinabè group offers powerful, moving and danceable music.
It's the story of a travelling griot who, during his exile, draws sound from tradition to magnify it in the encounter. A child of Burkina Faso, Seydou Diabaté aka Kanazoé is at one with his balafon, which becomes the voice of his stories and his state of mind.
Exhilarated by his six stage companions, he irradiates the audience with his smile and generosity, and his sticks become invisible as they leap up and down.
