Tchaikovsky's Variations sur un thème rococo and Pezzo capriccioso open the evening with soloist Xavier Philippe on cello. In the second half of the evening

led by conductor Raphaël Merlin, Brahms' Serenade No. 1 will unfurl its joyous, pastoral colors. The virtuoso soloist will demonstrate his expressive qualities with the bewitching sonority of his instrument. The orchestra promises to take us to the heights of musical Romanticism in all its splendor!
