Eyo Nlé carries the vibrant heritage of Beninese popular & traditional music. Demi Mondaine carries the vibrant heritage of rock & roll and post-blues chanson. The brassy Beninese band, oscillating between Afro-jazz, Afro beat and Voodoo rhythms, embraces the voice and spirit of Demi Mondaine and her inevitable rock & soul song heritage. An explosive mix that gives birth to an original, self-proclaimed style: "EXPLOSIVE Post- Blues & VODUN Beat Orchestra"!

This new-style brass band pays vibrant tribute to its roots and history, right back to the crossroads where they met (perhaps Robert Johnson, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday ),

& exploring new sonic horizons. Every note is a celebration of the loop that unites the two cultures, of sharing, of rhythms rooted in Beninese history. The African musicians proudly wear their colorful costumes around Demi, a singer with a honeyed, tawny voice,

a thousand lights. Together, they breathe familiar tunes, explore mixed lands and improvise boldly. They create intoxicating, lively rhythms and melodies delivered by soul and body. The drums resound like heartbeats, reminding us all of the vitality and richness of communion and ancestral heritage. On stage, they captivate with their magnetic energy, bewitching rhythms and colorful brass. A unique, vibrant, anachronistic atmosphere.
