Profitez des Journées Européennes du Patrimoine pour découvrir les secrets de l’ostréiculture sur un site unique et authentique ! Au programme de ces journées, les animations : - « En claires » : Animation sur le marais et l’art d’affiner les huîtres. - « A marée basse… » Venez découvrir les gestes de l’ostréiculteur. - « Cabane ostréicole » Visite d’une véritable cabane ostréicole. - « Entre deux coquilles » Venez apprendre à ouvrir les huîtres en toute sécurité.
Descriptif
To mark the 41st European Heritage Days, the Cité de l'Huître is organizing an open house weekend on the themes of "Heritage of routes, networks and connections" and "Maritime heritage".
On the program for both days:
Oyster farming demonstrations at 11:15am, 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
Discover the oyster marshes and the oyster maturing process at 11:45am, 3pm and 5pm.
All-day tour of the oyster huts with scenographic displays on the oyster environment, oyster farming and its history, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Free admission, without prior reservation. Bicycle hire available (€3) for a ride through the heart of the marsh.
