Dates & opening times
Description
Seaweed discovery outing and seaweed cooking workshop: Preferably bring boots or ankle-high shoes that fit in the water, a bucket and a pair of scissors for harvesting seaweed, and possibly a windbreaker and a hat, depending on the weather.
The outing continues with a cooking workshop, creating a simple, cold, aperitif recipe. (Please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerances). If you can, bring one or two containers to take home your culinary preparations.
Departure for the seaweed outing depends on the tides, and takes place at 9:00 a.m. sharp from the caravan park on the left as you approach the Chassiron lighthouse via Saint Denis.
The seaweed outing ends around 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
The seaweed cooking workshop will take place at Le Chassiron campsite.
The complete session (including cooking workshop) will finish at around 4:30 - 5:00 pm.
Numbers are limited, so reservations are essential.
Prices: 35 euros for members of Roseaux Sociaux IØ, otherwise 40 €.
For seaweed outing only: €15 (€13 for Roseaux Sociaux IØ members).
Payment must be made in the parking lot before the outing (cheques or cash only).
Thank you for your interest and see you soon,
Nathalie and Xavier
