Cabane n°2 - Camille Dandono
Descriptif
Camille Dandono invites you to discover her work in her cabin at the Baudissière oyster port.
It was when she landed on the island that she first took up painting. The island's lights and colors inspired her. She observed the oyster-farming world around her shack, and fell under the spell of the tractors: these old machines with their bodies weathered by sun and salt, rust, sludge, so many effects of matter to exploit...
Other themes soon followed, such as storks, cows, fish, birds, bathers and faces, all images that leave her unmoved. Her technique is varied, using acrylics, oils and oil pastels.
She also devotes herself to the Japanese art of Gyotaku, which consists of reproducing fish prints.
On request, Camille can also create paintings to order.
Alongside this, she also makes a few objects, lamps, mobiles and other trinkets...
