Halle aux vivres - Exposition permanente Brouage se la raconte
Dates & opening times
Description
Come and have fun with history!
The exhibition is particularly aimed at young visitors, offering a humorous and whimsical way of discovering Brouage. By renewing the museum's offer, with a more attractive and dynamic vision of the commune's history, this exhibition proposes to abolish the distance between the visitor and history, with the idea of arousing a feeling of appropriation of the places and understanding of the occupants who succeeded one another there.
The tour tells the story of daily life in Brouage through different periods. Humor and fantasy are at the heart of this new proposal, thanks to a quirky scenographic treatment.
The exhibition also tells the story of Brouage's tumultuous history, which includes adventures across the ocean with the famous Samuel de Champlain, a native of Brouage, bloody confrontations against a backdrop of civil war, and the impossible love between Louis XIV and Marie Mancini.
A fun, interactive exhibition for the whole family! Ideal for teenagers!
