Plage de Matha
Descriptif
Matha beach is located on the west coast of the Ile d'Oléron, near the fishing port of La Cotinière. It's a family beach facing the Atlantic Ocean. It's particularly popular for its low number of visitors and for a wide range of seaside activities. Relaxation, walking or water sports - there's something for everyone.
The beach can be reached on foot or by bike via the cycle path that runs alongside the parking lot. At the entrance to the beach, you'll find a parking area for cars and bikes. Picnic tables are available for a quick bite to eat!
Public toilets will be available in July and August.
A summer shuttle bus stop is located 1 km from the beach.
