Descriptif
They have launched an environmentally-friendly production of salicornia and imperial shrimp. Their products are all certified. Since 2015, Bernard and Sophie have rehabilitated an old salt marsh on the Route d'Ors. You can watch the fleur de sel harvest in the evenings in summer, free of charge.
You can meet Bernard all year round at the establishment with variable hours depending on the time of the tide, and he'll be happy to explain the technical side of production. From April to the end of September, you'll find Sophie at the cabane noire on avenue du port, behind the wooden merry-go-round, in Château d'Oléron in the afternoons; she'll be delighted to show you her fresh or processed products: salicornia in vinegar, velouté, au naturel, mustard, coarse salt and fleur de sel, live imperial shrimp and oysters.
Bernard and Sophie work at sea and on their marshes, respecting the environment. All their produce is certified organic.
Outside the sales shack's opening hours, don't hesitate to call to see if you can meet us at the production site, 500 m away.
