Descriptif
Café Restaurant Les Bain is a real meeting place for yachtsmen, seafaring professionals and ocean enthusiasts. With its relaxed atmosphere and cosy decor, Sandrine and Pierrick aim to showcase local produce. A large covered terrace overlooks the channel for coffee, lunch or dinner: the vantage point is ideal for admiring maritime life.
Pierrick's local cuisine is revisited and entirely homemade. The menu features fish exclusively from La Cotinière, oysters from Fort Royer, vegetables from Oléron... the traditional "choucroute de la mer"... For dessert, enjoy profiteroles or lime cheesecake... A must at Boyardville harbor! The cellar offers a selection of around thirty wines from producers and Grands Crus Classés.
The café and terrace are open non-stop, and you can even order in at breakfast to enjoy the sunrise and the lapping water...
Ideally located, the establishment is just a stone's throw from the marina, from which cruises depart for La Rochelle, Ile d'Aix and Fort Boyard. On the other side of the channel, the small oyster-farming port of Fort Royer borders the nature reserve and oyster beds. As for nature, you'll find a natural golf course with a sea view, cycle paths and hiking trails through the Saumonards national forest... you'll be able to fill up on fresh air. For idleness, just 5 minutes from the long sandy beach with its breathtaking views of Fort Boyard, La Rochelle and the islands of Aix and Ré! And don't forget the many water sports activities on offer in the harbour and at the sailing school... it's all here!
