Description
This traditional local wooden pinasse from Charente, once used for mussel and oyster farming, now boasts enhanced elegance and comfort for an authentic Oléronaise adventure.
With room for up to 12 people on board, its captain Simon, a native of Oleron, will welcome you and suggest the best itinerary for your trip, depending on the weather and, above all, the time of the tide. Feel free to ask him any questions you may have, and he'll be happy to tell you all about the different trades and places in the Pertuis.
The oyster beds, the Pont d'Oléron, Fort Louvois, the Seudre, the canal at La Tremblade, Ronce-Les-Bains and its wild coastline, the magnificent Baie de Gatseau... are just some of the beautiful places that are part of the local heritage.
Trips last around 2h30 on the water, and times can be agreed with the captain for the day of your choice. Indeed, Oléron's life depends on high and low tides, so departures are not necessarily possible at all hours of the day.
La Jeannette can also easily be privatized for a special occasion with friends, family, for business or other purposes...

After a 250 m walk along a pretty forest path that runs alongside the Novotel de Gatseau on the left, you'll arrive at a magnificent beach next to the Novotel. Simon will pick you up with his semi-rigid dinghy (everyone barefoot) and take you out on La Jeannette, which is anchored just a few dozen meters away. Return to the same spot.
During aperitif outings, you'll find a natural white wine and a local rosé wine on board.
Dare to embark on La Jeannette to enjoy simple things while spending a unique and wonderful moment.
