Conférence : L'origine des mythes d'origine
Dates & opening times
Descriptif
The origin of origin myths. Can prehistoric stories be traced? It has often been said that myths and tales have "survived the centuries", or even that they have been handed down since prehistoric times. How can such claims be proven? What's the truth? Can oral tradition really be traced back that far? We'll see that it's possible to demonstrate that certain original myths have been passed down for tens of thousands of years, and that it's even possible to trace their distribution routes across the globe. Many of them have accompanied mankind from the very beginning, through all its peregrinations. The Lascaux painters probably knew them, and some of their stories are still told today...
A presentation for all adult audiences, in accessible language, in an illustrated and largely storytelling format, with various tales recounting the origins of mankind.
