Our print communication media
Every year, we produce a large number of documents to promote our destination and ensure that every visitor has access to quality information. Even if the Internet is an essential element today, your tourist office produces almost 450,000 documents, maps, brochures, magazines, etc. every year.
As a partner of the tourist office, you can :
- be listed on our brochures
- benefit from special rates in local publications
- receive tourist brochures

IOMN magazine
An annual brochure, the magazine is our flagship publication. Tourists will find all the information they need to prepare their stay on the Ile d'Oléron or in the Marennes basin: leisure activities, places to visit, water sports, tide times, restaurants, local produce, food markets...
This document is available to our visitors at our reception desks, and to our partners on request.

The accommodation guide and the rental guide
Published every year, either on its own or as a supplement to the magazine, the accommodation guide showcases some of the accommodation on offer in the Marennes Oléron area.
To complement this document, a rental guide is also available to showcase all our furnished accommodation partners.
In both guides, visitors planning their future stays can find all our hotels, campsites, furnished accommodations, B&Bs, vacation villages and tourist residences.

Cycle path maps and tourist maps
In addition to brochures, the tourist office also offers a cycle path map and a tourist map of the Ile d'Oléron. A single map is available for the Marennes basin.
While the tourist map offers a clear and precise view of what to see and do on the island, the cycle path map provides a better understanding of the 150km of trails dedicated to cycle tourists. The map is color-coded and numbered to help visitors plan their itineraries.

Local tourist maps
In addition to the general tourist maps, each commune on the Ile d'Oléron and in the Marennes basin has its own tourist map. As well as helping visitors to find their way around more easily on a local scale, each map targets the things to see or do in the commune in question with a more precise level of detail: the nearest beach, nearby accommodation, picnic areas, bus stops, parking facilities, toilets...
The Marennes Oléron Tourist Office is also working to promote the region's heritage through its Heritage Tours. Today, in addition to the guide to heritage trails (on sale in our reception offices), several brochures highlighting these heritage trails are available free of charge from our reception offices: Saint-Pierre d'Oléron, Le Château d'Oléron, Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, Marennes...

Events calendar
To complete our print offering, the tourist office is also responsible for promoting all the festivals and events taking place in the area throughout the year. A new bi-monthly events diary is published in the tourist office and is freely available throughout the year.
