Surfing and nature on the Ile d'Oléron!

Surfing and nature on the Ile d'Oléron from April to All Saints' Day!
Treat yourself to an iodized holiday on the Ile d'Oléron, between ocean, salt marshes and forests.
On the program: 5 days to learn to surf on the ideal spot, the Grande plage de Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, but also to discover the wealth and diversity of the south of the island: culture and heritage, unspoilt landscapes, gastronomy and oyster farming...
Alongside Baptiste, manager of Moanaa surf school committed to the preservation of oceans and coastal areas, and a member of the local network Nautisme responsable and partner of the NGO Surfrider FoundationSurfrider Foundation, you'll discover the secrets of this area and its rich biodiversity.
Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the ocean, waves and coastline. Founded in Biarritz in 1990, the association carries out awareness-raising, research and advocacy actions to preserve marine biodiversity, combat pollution and promote sustainable management of coastal resources. With the support of volunteers and experts, Surfrider Foundation works for a future where the ocean is respected and protected by all.
Ideas for best practices related to waste and ocean protection:
1. Adopt responsible consumption: favor products with little packaging, that are reusable and recyclable.
2. Reduce plastic use: use sustainable alternatives such as water bottles, cloth bags and metal straws.
3. Raise awareness: share information about the impact of waste on the ocean and encourage environmentally-friendly behavior.
4. Take advantage of your visit to the beach to pick up a few forgotten objects or those washed up by the ocean, or to take part in an organized garbage collection. Be careful not to disturb the fauna, especially the birds that nest on our beaches: https: //parc-marin-gironde-pertuis.fr/actualites/larrivee-des-gravelots-collier-interrompu
